Ghada Boulos was our guide in the Galilee.
Ghada Boulos is a Palestinian Christian who was born in Nazareth and now lives in Haifa. When we visited the House of the Virgin Mary in Haifa — a beautiful 19th century church — she sang a hymn in Arabic after getting us all to hum a note which she used as a foundation for her hymn. I purchased a copy of the CD entitled “Dawning Souls” with the Ud al-Nad Choir, on which Ghada sings a solo. She was our guide in the Galilee from October 12-16.
